I was born and raised in Daegu, South Korea. As an only child, I learned how to be independent really quickly. I loved being around people as much as I loved playing by myself, and according to my mother, I was also “the textbook child.”

After elementary school, I moved to Houston, Texas, where I officially learned my ABCs. I felt lonely and lost at first, but things quickly got more exciting and fun once I joined my school's basketball team.

During the summer before senior year of high school, I had to say goodbye to the lone star state and move to LA. It was tough leaving all my friends behind and finishing up the most important year of high school in a new city/state. However, I pushed through, got my citizenship, met amazing people, and hailed LA as my new home!

Thanks to my wife, I found a fun new hobby in 2018 - escape rooms! I was a little late to the party, but after my first one, I just couldn't stop. We love doing escape rooms just us 2, so that we get more opportunities to find the clues and solve the puzzles. We managed to escape 9 out 10 rooms so far. Can't wait to escape the next one!
